Aimee Hislop
Aimee (she/her) trained at Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts in London. She then learned how to be a clown in Paris, studied Commedia dell ‘Arte and physical theatre in Italy and trained in aerial hoop at FLIC circus school, Reale Società Ginnastica in Turin.
She has just come from ’A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ as Queen Titania with ADGE Theatre which toured Vietnam, China and Europe performing in castles, palaces, monasteries and chateaux. The tour will continue to Scandinavia later this summer.
She played The Queen of Hearts in Nottingham with Copper Entertainment in ‘Wonderland!’, where she terrified all the playing cards and ate all the tarts.
Other credits include: Juliet in ‘Romeo & Juliet’, Belle in ‘A Christmas Carol’, Mina Murray in ‘Dracula’, Sarah Seeton in spoof comedy ‘Twist’ in Cannes, South of France, Nina Van Zandt in the European premiere of ‘Haymarket, a New Folk Musical’, Toad in ‘Wind in the Willows’ and Mary Poppins in ‘The Hard Comedy Sketch Show’, Canal Cafe Theatre. She has also featured in the BBC Drama ‘Coming Down the Mountain’ as well as in ‘School for Stars’ on CBBC.
Aimee loves the beautiful connections and adventures that theatre offers and has enjoyed working with Action Theatre since 2015.
